Choose a Genre
Master and record a song in the Pop/Rock genre.
Learn common stylistic flourishes and accents used in contemporary singing. Whether your ultimate goal is to master a power ballad or rock anthem, our instructors will teach you how to develop and care for your voice in a healthy and sustainable way.
Master techniques that you can apply across the board in several different contemporary genres.
Master and record a song in the Jazz/Blues genre.
Learn how to perform timeless pieces from the Great American Songbook, as well as execute singing elements in Swing music and Brazilian Bossa Nova. Jazz singers often have an impeccable sense of rhythm and a good ear.
Apart from learning foundational basics in singing, students are required to get creative with improvisation techniques commonly heard in Jazz music.
Master and record a song in the Musical Theatre genre.
If you love classic musical theatre (think Sound of Music, Cats, and Les Miserables), or love to belt along to Disney's most loved musical pieces, this package is for you! Speech-driven and expressive, musical theatre requires students to truly perform and not merely sing.
Learn the technical aspects of theatre-style singing, as well as creative ways to sing while being in 'character'.
Do I Need Any Singing Experience to Join?
No, this course is adjustable to suit complete beginners. Whether you are an experienced singer and performer, or a complete novice our instructors will be able to adjust the course to suit your skill level while keeping the same learning goals in place.
Is There An Age Limit?
Students must be at least six years of age to participate in this course.
Do I Need To Bring Anything?
Bring a bottle of lukewarm water to keep yourself hydrated during the lesson.
What can I expect during the recording?
You will be singing against an instrumental backing track of the song of your choice, or acoustic accompaniment provided by one of our instructors. You can choose to record audio only, or we can keep a camera rolling during the process for a simple music video keepsake.
